Angie Lopez

Angie is a dedicated and long-term employee for the IRS, and as such she is perfectly positioned to help ensure that Danger Aware, for which she has a personal interest in for children, will maintain proper financial records and follow all rules for a 501(c)3 organization. The proud mother of a talented son, and grandmother to two precious grandchildren. She loves to cook, but her favorite hobby is crocheting and making beautiful scarves and blankets for friends and family.

Ruby Torres

Office Manager

Ruby is a lifelong native of Fresno, California. Married for fifty years and with a wonderful son, she retired two years ago from being a Caregiver to patients at the Regional Medical Center for twenty six years. She has worked with all types of trauma patients, helping many relearn the basic skills of walking and feeding themselves. She has extensive experience with organizing schedules and procedures which are easily carried over to her position as Office Manager, she is guiding the office staff to producing the books, games and videos for Danger Aware Organization.

Fonda Lehman

Chief Executive Officer

Born the third of twelve children, Fonda has spent 90% of her life carring for others. Her grandfather had homesteaded in Colorado in the 1800's, and so she was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The mother of four, she is a caregiver to many; Siblings-nieces-nephews-grandchildren, foreign students, and a special needs great-niece for twenty and a half years. She has always kept the records for her husband's business and their rental homes, which she and he aquired through the hard work of achieving the American Dream. After fifty years helping her husband run a successful buisiness she still suffers the trauma she experienced as a child. She is a survivor, seamstress, teacher, healer, speaker, mover, maker, caregiver, non-stop woman of faith, author. Her books are written for children and parents to go through together at a level the parent feels is appropriate for their child. It was the urging of her brother Ray, to write a third book in her series of Strangers, which sparked the creation of Danger Aware.

Ray Howell

Chief Information Officer

Ray began training as a locksmith with his brother in law, Elmer Lehman when he was only fourteen years old. Thoughout the years, besides becoming a master locksmith, Ray learned computers. His own business, The Key Wizard, lists many other of his accomplishments and skills. His hobbies include Radio Control Flying, all forms of music, he plays 19 insturments, reading, and computers. With a BA in Business Informaiton Systems and Certifications from Microsoft as a Database Administrator, Computer Programmer and Network Administrator, he is perfectly suited to run our information technology department and keep us up to date on the latest software, systems and equipment.

Jerry Baker

Sound Systems Manager

Jerry is a sound and photography technician who spent over forty years with his wife doing photography of gymnasts and dancers. He is a fantastic photographer. As the Visual Media Officer, he manages to provide excellent images and video for Danger Aware.

Elmer Lehman

President

Born a twin, the eldest of seven children, Elmer was no stranger to hard work and a tough upbringing. At seventeen he enlisted in the US Navy and Served as flight prep crew on the USS Constistilation and the USS Ranger. Near the end of his two tours of duty in Viet Nam, he fell in love with and three months later married his wife in 1965. In January of 1969 he and she had a son, followed eventually by three more children. For eleven years he worked as a facilities engineer at Fresno State University of California. During that time he applied to and completed correspondence courses for locksmithing, working Saturdays, often without pay, to learn the trade from Bud’s Locksmithing in Fig Garden Village. Eventually starting as strictly mobile service as a locksmihth, Elmer started Lehmans's Lock and Safe, a forerunner in security in the Fresno Area for fifty years. As a Master Locksmith, he has trained others, and secured many businesses and homes all over the Fresno Valley Basin. Through the luck of marrying a very intelligent woman who knew from growing up poor, how to manage every penny, they have acquired homes and properties to ensure their retirement, and now, to set up and initially fund Danger Aware Organization as its President.
